Frequently asked questions

FAQ

How does your service work?

Our service is designed to provide fast, reliable prescription consultations for non-controlled medications. You start by completing an intake form online, which is reviewed by a licensed healthcare provider. If the medication is deemed appropriate for you, we’ll send a prescription directly to your pharmacy, where you can pick it up or arrange for delivery.

Which states do you serve?

We currently serve residents of New York. Our services are available to patients who are physically located within the state of New York at the time of the consultation. We can send prescriptions to any pharmacy within New York, as well as any online pharmacies, provided the patient is in New York when the consultation takes place. This ensures that we comply with state regulations while offering the convenience of telehealth services.

When can I expect to hear from a provider?

After completing your intake form, you can expect to hear back from a healthcare provider generally within 1-3 hours, with maximum of 24 hours. We strive to review and process consultations as quickly as possible.

What are medical intake forms?

Medical forms are the intake forms you complete during the consultation process. These forms gather essential health information that allows our providers to assess whether a prescription is appropriate for you.

Do you accept insurance?

We aim to offer affordable medical care for all and do not require nor accept insurance for our consultation/prescription services. However, the pharmacy where your prescription is sent may accept insurance for the cost of the medication.

Do you accept HSA or FSA payments?

We do not accept HSA or FSA payments at this time.

How fast will meds be available at my local pharmacy?

Medications are usually available for pick-up within a few hours after your prescription is sent. The exact timing may vary depending on the pharmacy. You may also elect to have your prescription sent to an online pharmacy which can mail the medications to you.

Is there an extra charge at my local pharmacy?

The consultation fee does not cover the cost of the medication. The pharmacy will charge you separately for the medication, and you may be able to use insurance to cover this cost. We recommend checking the medication prices at multiple pharmacies to ensure you're getting the best possible price prior to submitting a request.

Can I change local pharmacies or switch to delivery?

Yes, you can request that your prescription be transferred to another pharmacy or opt for delivery if your pharmacy offers it. Please let us know as soon as possible.

Are all of your providers licensed in the US?

Yes, all of our healthcare providers are fully licensed physicians in the United States. At this time we only provide service to residents of New York State.

Do you handle prior authorizations?

We currently do not manage prior authorizations. Our service is focused on providing medical consultations and sending prescriptions directly to your preferred pharmacy. Please check if your insurance requires prior authorization for certain medications prior to proceeding. We recommend checking the medication prices at multiple pharmacies to ensure you're getting the best possible price. We're here to assist you in any other way we can.

What is the refund policy?

We offer a refund for consultation fees at any point before the prescription is sent to your pharmacy. If you encounter any issues with the pharmacy chosen, we can resend the prescription to a different pharmacy at no additional charge. Beyond this, refunds are determined on a case-by-case basis, focusing on fairness and customer satisfaction. We strive to ensure our service meets your needs and are committed to being as accommodating as possible.
